In order to choose the correct ball mount you need to measure the distance from the ground to the top inside edge of the trailer hitch and then subtract the distance from the ground to the bottom of the trailer coupler while the trailer is level. If the vehicle is higher than the trailer you need a drop but if it's lower you'll need a rise.

It sounds like you have a set of the TorkLift GlowStep Revolution Scissor Steps but need both the mounting brackets and hardware to attach to them to your trailer.
